As an unpaid Hospice Volunteer, you will provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and their families. Volunteers are valued members of the hospice care team who help extend care beyond clinical services and bolter emotional well-being.

As an unpaid Hospice Volunteer, you will provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and their families. Volunteers are valued members of the hospice care team who help extend care beyond clinical services and bolter emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Spend time with hospice patients, offering companionship, conversation, or quiet presence in homes or care centers.
- Provide caregiver respite by giving families short breaks.
- Engage patients in activities such as reading, listening to music, or conversation.
- Help with light errands or simple tasks.
- Offer support at community events
- Help with office administrative duties
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older for hospice patient visits
Compassionate, patient, reliable, and respectful of diverse cultures and backgrounds
Able to commit some schedule flexibility
Background check, orientation/training, valid drivers license for patient visits

Compensation: $0.01 per hour
